The Winchester Model 54 is a classic American bolt-action sporting rifle produced by Winchester Repeating Arms from 1925 until the late 1930s. Designed to compete with the dominant European bolt-actions of its day, the Model 54 featured a conventional Mauser-inspired three-ring design with a controlled-round-feed extractor, solid one-piece steel receiver, and a cock-on-opening bolt that balanced smoothness with reliable operation.
