The Remington Nylon 66 “Mohawk Brown” variant is one of the most iconic and widely recognized models in the Nylon 66 lineup. Featuring a rich brown Zytel stock paired with the standard metal receiver and barrel, the Mohawk Brown offered a classic, understated look during its production run. Approximately 675,000 of these rifles were manufactured, making them the most common Nylon 66 variant while still highly desirable among collectors and enthusiasts. Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and chambered in .22 LR, the Mohawk Brown combined the Nylon 66’s innovative polymer design with dependable performance and timeless appeal.
