The Remington Model 521-T is a bolt-action .22 caliber target rifle introduced in 1947 and produced until 1968, designed for precision shooting and marksmanship training. Early production examples were marketed and often stamped as the “521-T Junior Special,” emphasizing an affordable, smaller-scale target rifle suitable for youth and beginning shooters, while later rifles were stamped simply as Model 521-T following a change in Remington’s nomenclature around 1959.
