These rifles are chambered for the .22 Long Rifle rimfire cartridge and feature a patented 10-round rotary magazine, with the option for higher-capacity box magazines. The Ruger 10/22 carbine version has been in production since 1964 and is one of the most successful rimfire rifle designs in history. The rifle is highly customizable with numerous third-party manufacturers offering parts and accessories for upgrading. In fact, it's possible to build a complete 10/22 without the use of any Ruger-made components. The 10/22 Carbine Standard model comes with an 18.5" barrel.
