In 1976, to celebrate the United States Bicentennial, Ruger marked nearly all of its firearms with the roll-stamped inscription “Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty.” This special marking appeared on a wide range of models, including the Security-Six, Single-Six, Blackhawk, Mini-14, and others produced that year.
