In 1980, Colt released the .45 ACP Government Signature Series, a highly limited production run showcasing both elegance and rarity. Chambered in .45 ACP, these pistols were offered in a rich blued finish accented with gold electroplating or in a striking full nickel finish. Only 250 examples of each variation were manufactured, making them exceptionally scarce.
