During his career, John Browning invented some of the most popular .22 rifles ever made. They were known for their reliability and their trim, compact designs. As an outdoorsman, the chances are high you were weaned on one of those rifles. Browning has added a pair of look-alike 22s that feature man-sized dimensions, a middle-weight barrel for good accuracy, and a strong family resemblance to our high-powered BAR. The BAR-22 auto loader and the BPR-22 pump-action are two 22s you'll never outgrow. The Browning BPR-22 was introduced in 1977 and ceased production in 1982. It features a short-stroke action, 20 1/4" barrel, bead blade on ramp base front and flip-up rear sight, checkered pistol stock and forearm, and blue finish.
