Bryant Ridge Co. is pleased to present this ultra-rare Snake Series revolver today for a penny-start auction; this is the Colt Python Silhouette.
Based on a concept by Colt Marketing Director Thomas A. Thornber, 1983 saw the introduction of the Colt Python revolver. It was in .357 Magnum caliber and had an 8-inch vent rib barrel roll marked "PYTHON SILHOUETTE." The sight combination was a red ramp/white outline. The finish was Colt's famous Royal Blue. The Silhouette was scoped from the factory with the Leupold M8-2X Extended Eye Relief scope with a Leupold/Colt medallion mounted on the left side of the scope. It was offered for a limited time circa 1983 in scarce unit production and is FEVERISHLY sought after by Collectors worldwide!!! According to our research, only 500 of these Silhouette models were ever produced!
