Bryant Ridge Auction Company is pleased to present this SCARCE double-action revolver today for a penny start auction, this is the Smith & Wesson Model 16-4 also known as the K-32 Masterpiece!
The model 16 was originally produced from 1947-1974. In 1989 it was reintroduced chambered in .32 H&R Magnum with 4", 6" & 8 3/8" full lug ribbed barrels. Total production came to about 8800 in the 3 combined barrel lengths!
This example is a FIRST YEAR OF PRODUCTION MODEL, manufactured in 1989!

The Smith & Wesson Model 16 was manufactured circa 1947 to 1974 when production ended. In 1989 Smith & Wesson reintroduced this model chambered in .32 H&R magnum as a double action revolver built on the square butt K target frame with 3 screws. This desirable model was only produced for a short period of time lasting from 1989 to 1992. Due to the short production this revolver is highly sought after among collectors.
