Constructed from stainless steel with a satin finish, the Model 610 combines durability with refined aesthetics. While the model was originally produced in a limited run of 4,560 units between 1989 and 1992, it was reintroduced in 1998 and again in 2001, with production continuing until 2004. Notably, this model was not officially cataloged until 1998, despite early availability. Serial number BFA3667 was documented as an example by an author, and official S&W data sheets were issued in March 1990, January 1998, and November 2000. The Model 610 stands out for its versatility, accuracy, and limited production status, making it a valued piece for collectors and shooters alike.
