The Colt Restricted Law Enforcement Carbine – Custom Build represents a modern tactical evolution of Colt’s legendary AR-15 platform, combining the proven reliability of a Colt-manufactured carbine with carefully selected performance upgrades. Built around the classic 5.56mm NATO chambering, this rifle features a 16" threaded barrel with a 1:7 twist rate, allowing it to stabilize a wide range of bullet weights from standard 55-grain ammunition up through heavier 77-grain match loads favored by precision shooters. The barrel is fitted with a SureFire Warcomp flash hider (½-28 threads), a premium muzzle device designed to reduce muzzle flash and recoil while also serving as a suppressor-ready interface for compatible SureFire systems. The rifle is finished in a matte black tactical coating, maintaining the subdued, duty-ready appearance that Colt carbines are known for. From a performance standpoint, this example has been configured with a variety of upgrades that enhance both ergonomics and field functionality. A Rise Armament upper contributes improved machining tolerances and lightweight construction, while the Picatinny rail system allows the rifle to accept modern optics and accessories. Mounted on the rifle is an EOTech XPS2-1 red dot optic, a combat-proven holographic sight known for rapid target acquisition and excellent durability in demanding environments. 
 
Supporting equipment includes a Magpul forearm and foregrip, providing improved handling and control, along with a mounted OLIGHT weapon light with pressure button activation, allowing the rifle to be effectively used in low-light or defensive scenarios. Comfort and adaptability are further enhanced by the rifle’s Mission First Tactical adjustable stock, which allows shooters to tailor the length of pull to their preferred shooting stance or body armor configuration. The Hogue textured synthetic pistol grip with finger grooves improves grip security and shooter comfort during extended firing sessions. Together, these upgrades transform the classic Colt law enforcement platform into a highly capable modern tactical rifle, blending Colt’s reputation for durability with contemporary accessories designed to maximize accuracy, control, and real-world versatility.
