Bryant Ridge Co. is pleased to present this SOUGHT-AFTER single-action revolver for a penny-start auction; this is the Colt Cowboy!
The Colt Cowboy Single Action in .45 LC was produced from 1999 to 2003 and offered with 4 ¾", 5 ½", or 7 ½" barrels, with the 4 ¾" and 7 ½" versions discontinued in 1999 and the model briefly reintroduced in 2002. Marked “COLT COWBOY .45 COLT” on the left side of the barrel, it featured a transfer bar safety, all-steel construction, and frame assembly completed in the U.S., though the revolver itself was not fully U.S.-manufactured. It sported charcoal case-colored frames with blued steel parts, weighed about 40 ounces, and wore black composition Rampant Colt grips styled after those of the 1st Generation Single Action Army. This model blended classic Colt styling with modern safety features for an affordable alternative to the traditional SAA.
