This example was engraved by the world renowned Bill Mains.
Mr. Mains was a Colt Master engraver and his work is extremely sought after by collectors around the world!
According to our research, the Ruger Vaquero Sheriff’s Model #00529 (Catalog #KBNV-453-I) is a limited-production variant crafted for Acusport around 2000–2001, with only about 1,000 examples made. Featuring the distinctive short-barrel “Sheriff’s Model” profile, this revolver combines the rugged reliability of the Vaquero platform with the collectible appeal of a special distributor-exclusive run, making it highly sought after among Ruger enthusiasts and cowboy-action shooters alike.
