The CZ 2075 RAMI is a compact, double-action/single-action semi-automatic pistol designed by Ceská Zbrojovka (CZ) as a shrunken version of the classic CZ-75 service pistol. Its designers, Radek Hauerland and Milan Trkulja (whose initials give the “RAMI” name), aimed to deliver a reliable, powerful carry gun with many of the strengths of the CZ-75 family, but in a more manageable size for concealed or backup carry. The standard model comes in 9×19mm Parabellum (9mm Luger), and there was also a .40 S&W variant. The frame is made from either alloy (aluminum) or, in some earlier models, polymer, depending on the version; alloy-frame models offer greater weight for recoil mitigation, while polymer versions trade off some mass for reduced overall weight. It features a short recoil, locked breech action, manual safety (or decocker lever in the “BD” model), a firing-pin block, and a hammer-safety notch. With a 3-inch barrel, RAMI strikes a balance between compactness and ballistics, producing good performance at self-defense distances while remaining concealable. In terms of handling and performance, the RAMI is well-suited for shooters who want a capable carry pistol that retains sturdy build quality and good capacity.
