The Remington 870 Wingmaster Classic Trap, introduced in 2000 as a special edition to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Model 870, exemplifies Remington's dedication to craftsmanship and performance in competitive trap shooting. While the 2000 release was a limited edition, the Wingmaster Classic Trap proved so popular that Remington continued producing it in subsequent years. Built on the renowned 870 platform, it features a 30-inch target contour vent rib barrel optimized for target shooting, with twin bead sights—an white front bead for quick target acquisition and a silver mid-bead for precise aiming—and is compatible with interchangeable Rem Choke tubes, including Singles, Mid Handicap, and Long Handicap, allowing shooters to tailor performance to various distances.
