Colt has released a unique pistol to commemorate a national holiday with a history of over 2000 years. The model O2991, chambered in .38 Super caliber, boasts a full-sized 5-inch slide made of high-polished blue finish and silver-etched with Mexican folk art designs and symbols, including the Colt emblem. The frame is carbon steel, while the barrel bushing and hammer are silver-plated. The polished barrel is visible through the ejection port. The Pearlite grips feature Colt Medallions and silver hex screws. This exclusive edition has a factory serial range of 001DOD to 200DOD.
The owner states that this example remains New Old Stock and we see no evidence to indicate otherwise.
