The rifle is equipped with a 26-inch free-floating varmint-contour 416 stainless steel barrel, featuring wide LTR-style tactical fluting that aids in rapid cooling and weight reduction, and a dish-style target crown to help preserve accuracy. The action is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and is fitted with dual front swivel studs and a rear stud, allowing the rifle to easily accommodate a wide variety of optics, slings, and field accessories while maintaining the rugged reliability and performance for which the Model 700 platform is well known.
