To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the iconic 1911 pistol, Ed Brown introduced two exclusive Centennial Edition models in 2011: the refined Executive Elite and the lavish Classic Custom. The standout among them, the Classic Custom Centennial Edition, represents a masterful fusion of timeless design, exquisite craftsmanship, and modern innovation. Limited to availability during the centennial year, this pistol is a true collector’s masterpiece. It features detailed hand relief engraving on the flats of the slide and frame, grip screws, thumb safety, grip safety, slide stop, and magazine release. A custom rib on the slide top, flattened, serrated, and relieved, adds a distinct and elevated aesthetic, while the traditional “Custom by Ed Brown” remains on the right side of the slide, complemented by the special “Centennial Edition 1911–2011” laser inscription on the left. Tru-Ivory grips replace the standard wood, and the jeweled barrel hood adds a refined visual accent.
