This limited-edition Colt Single Action Army features exquisite contemporary scroll engravings on the cylinder flats and the right side of the barrel. The intricate designs are accentuated with luxurious 24kt gold plating, including a gold band around the cylinder and muzzle end of the barrel. The back strap is also beautifully engraved with a matching scroll, while the iconic Rampant Colt logo is highlighted in 24kt gold for added elegance. The engraved components are finished with a rich blued tone, while the frame showcases Colt’s signature color case-hardened finish. With only 100 units produced, this exceptional piece is a highly coveted collector's item.
According to a note sent by the owner, this example is in new old stock condition and has never been turned or fired since leaving the factory, and we see no evidence to indicate otherwise!

The Colt Single Action Army (also known as the Model P, Peacemaker, M1873, Single Action Army, SAA) is a single-action revolver with a revolving cylinder holding six metallic cartridges. It was designed for the U.S. government service revolver trials of 1873 by Colt's Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company, today Colt’s Manufacturing Company, and adopted as the standard military service revolver until 1892. It is perhaps the most copied, fraudulently modified to replicate an original Colt SAA, than any other revolver made.
