The Ruger Mark III 22/45 Lite combines the proven Mark III action with the ergonomic 22/45 chassis to deliver a familiar, well-balanced shooting platform. A cobalt-anodized finish protects exposed metal and gives the pistol a distinctive, long-wearing appearance. The Lite uses an aircraft-grade aluminum upper receiver and a steel-lined 4.40" threaded barrel to keep weight low while preserving accuracy and consistent barrel harmonics. The threaded muzzle accepts muzzle devices or a suppressor adapter without upsetting the pistol’s balance. Ruger’s cylindrical bolt helps maintain sight-to-barrel alignment. Oversized bolt ears and a contoured ejection port, smooth feeding and extraction, so cycling feels positive and dependable. Safety features are comprehensive: a patented loaded-chamber indicator provides quick visual and tactile confirmation, the manual safety locks the sear, and an internal safety lock adds secure storage protection.

Controls are simple and practical, with a left-side push-button magazine release that enables fast reloads and a magazine disconnect that prevents firing with the magazine removed. The 22/45 Lite features a durable Zytel polymer grip frame that accepts 10-round magazines and includes replaceable black molded rubber panels for improved comfort and a secure hold.
