Pedersoli's Howdah 45/410 is a reproduction of the iconic Auto & Burglar pistol originally produced by Ithaca in the 1920s. This model features a double-triggered, breech-loading extractor design but incorporates unique modifications that make it eligible for import and sale in the US. The primary distinction is that Pedersoli's version is chambered in .45 Colt and features 10.25-inch, 6-groove rifled barrels with a 1:48 right-hand twist. Additionally, the barrels are equipped with lengthened chambers to accommodate 3-inch .410 shotshells. The pistol is fitted with a gold bead front sight and a folding rear leaf sight, enhancing accuracy.
