The Ruger Mark IV Target is a modern reimagining of the classic .22 rimfire target pistol that pairs match-grade performance with one-button convenience. A rear-mounted takedown button and frame-mounted pivot allow the barrel/receiver assembly to tilt up and off the one-piece, CNC-machined grip frame for fast, tool-free field stripping and thorough chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. Ruger’s cold hammer-forged barrel and internal cylindrical bolt maintain permanent sight-to-barrel alignment for superior accuracy potential, while an ergonomic bolt stop, contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears keep operation smooth and reliable round after round. Comfort and usability are built into the controls and ergonomics: wrap-around wood laminate target grips with finger grooves promote a repeatable hold, an ambidextrous manual safety (convertible to left-side only) suits both hands, and a conveniently placed push-button magazine release enables swift, free-dropping reloads. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Weaver/Picatinny-style optics, and a magazine disconnect adds an extra layer of safety.
