Founded in 1868 in Brescia, Italy, Franchi has built a long-standing reputation as one of the world’s classic firearm makers, renowned especially for finely crafted shotguns and its embrace of traditional craftsmanship blended with modern innovation over more than a century and a half. In 2018, Franchi expanded its lineup beyond shotguns with the introduction of the Franchi Momentum, officially unveiled at the SHOT Show 2018, marking the company’s first centerfire bolt-action hunting rifle. To commemorate the company’s 150th anniversary that same year, Franchi released a Momentum 150th Anniversary Limited Edition that stands apart from the standard models with a host of premium aesthetic and build features. It sports a richly figured, contoured AA-Grade walnut stock finished in a beautiful satin. It also features an elegant satin-blue metal finish on the barrel and action, as well as the distinctive 150th anniversary logo on the receiver, marking it as a commemorative piece. The 150th Anniversary edition was produced in limited numbers and priced higher than the standard models at its launch, reflecting both its enhanced finish and its status as a celebratory, collectible iteration of the Momentum platform.

The rifle retains core Momentum mechanical traits, including a 22-inch slim-profile, free-floated barrel threaded 5/8×24 for muzzle accessories, an adjustable trigger (about 2–4 lbs.), spiral bolt, TSA recoil pad, and 4+1 capacity, but elevates them with classic materials and presentation aimed at collectors and hunters alike.
