This firearm features the classic, original 1911 fire control. A precision CNC-controlled machining process ensures a superior slide-to-frame fit and smooth slide travel. The positive barrel lock-up allows for superior accuracy straight out of the box. The design is traditional with replaceable grip panels and a checkered backstrap. The lightweight, aluminum, skeletonized trigger provides a very crisp, no creep, light trigger pull with a quick, positive reset. The hammer and titanium firing pin are skeletonized for faster lock time. The beavertail grip safety is oversized and provides positive function and reliability. The thumb safety and slide stop lever are extended for improved, positive manipulation. The integral plunger tube for slide stop and thumb safety is not staked and will never come loose. The ejection port is oversized, and the magazine release is extended to enhance performance. The inspection port allows for visual confirmation of a loaded or empty chamber. The firearm also features a flat mainspring housing and rear slide serrations for a positive grip. It accepts most standard, aftermarket 1911 parts and accessories.
