The Bauer Firearms Bauer Automatic .25 is a finely crafted, American-made pocket pistol that emerged in the 1970s as a high-quality clone of the iconic Baby Browning. Produced in Fraser, Michigan, the Bauer Automatic is chambered in .25 ACP and operates on a simple blowback system, a standard and proven design for ultra-compact pistols of its era. Measuring just over 4 inches in length and weighing approximately 10 ounces, it was purpose-built for discreet concealed carry, backup use, or as a personal defense pistol in situations where a larger firearm would be impractical. Its frame and slide are machined entirely from stainless steel — a notable upgrade over the blued steel of the original Baby Browning — giving it both corrosion resistance and a solid, durable feel.
