The Belgian “Cowboy Ranger” Double/Single-Action Revolver is a European-produced revolver that reflects the widespread global influence of the legendary Colt Single Action Army. Manufactured in Liège, one of the most prolific firearm production centers in Europe, these revolvers were typically produced as affordable export models during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. While styled to resemble the iconic Colt frontier revolver—with similar lines, loading gate, and fixed sights—the Cowboy Ranger incorporated a more versatile double/single-action mechanism, allowing it to be fired either by manually cocking the hammer for a lighter single-action trigger pull or by simply pulling the trigger in double-action mode.
