Bryant Ridge's Analysis

The Wassenaar Arrangement Semi-automatic Rifles, also known as WASR-series rifles, are a line of rifles sold in the United States by Century International Arms. These rifles are made in Romania by the Cugir Arms Factory. They are a semi-automatic version of the Pistol Mitraliera model 1963/1965, which is a Romanian-licensed derivative of the Soviet AKM assault rifle. Century imports and modifies them to comply with national legislation before selling them to the general public via licensed traders. The series is named after the 1996 Wassenaar Arrangement, which is a multilateral export control regime designed to monitor and limit the proliferation of certain conventional weapons and dual-use technologies.

The WASR-10 Underfolder is a highly sought-after Romanian import AK-pattern rifle. This rifle is perfect for on-the-go and survival use, thanks to its underfolding stock which enables the user to have a compact platform. When the stock is folded, the rifle becomes very compact, making it ideal for hiking, home defense, or as a truck gun. When the stock is open, the rifle provides a stable platform for more accurate target and sport shooting. The WASR-UF is based on a design used by Romanian military ranger teams, making it a versatile piece that can serve multiple purposes.
