Bryant Ridge's Analysis

The Smith & Wesson Model 60 revolver is a 5-shot revolver that comes in both .38 Special and .357 Magnum calibers. It was the first revolver ever made from stainless steel. The Model 60 is a stainless steel version of the Smith & Wesson Model 36 Chief's Special revolver, and it has a cylinder that swings out. It also has an exposed hammer. The Model 60 has been in production since 1965 and was the first all-stainless steel firearm ever made for regular production. In 1965, the Model 60 had a 1.875" barrel and was only chambered for the .38 Special. It was so popular that gunshops had a waiting list of up to six months to purchase one.
