*SOLD* 1968 Erma ET-22 Navy Luger .22LR Blue *VERY SCARCE GERMAN PRODUCED PISTOL*

Bryant Ridge's Analysis:

The Erma Werke ET-22 is a distinctive variant of the German Luger pistol, chambered in .22 Long Rifle rather than the standard and more powerful 9mm Parabellum. Manufactured by Erma Werke, a company based in Germany, the ET-22 was produced primarily during the 1960s as a more effective way of training while allowing for more cost-effective ammo to be used. The ET-22 mimicked the handling and appearance of the iconic P.08 Luger that was used by the Germans during World War II. While it retains the classic Luger design, including the toggle-lock mechanism and ergonomics, the ET-22 operates with a simpler blowback system due to its smaller, less powerful caliber. Its construction features a combination of steel and plastic parts, and it was often used for both recreational shooting and as a training tool. Though not as highly regarded as the full-sized 9mm Luger, the Erma Werke ET-22 remains a sought-after collectible due to its historical connection to the Luger legacy and its low production rate.
