*SOLD* 1990 Smith Wesson 631 .32 H&R Mag SS -FIRST YEAR OF PRODUCTION

Bryant Ridge's Analysis:

The Smith & Wesson 631 is a double/single-action revolver chambered in .32 H&R Magnum or .32 S&W, built on a round butt frame with three screws. It features a 6-shot fluted cylinder with a 1.44" nominal length, crafted from stainless steel. The 631 comes in two barrel configurations: a 2" barrel with fixed sights or a 4" barrel with a 1/8" red ramp front sight and a white outline, along with a micrometer-click rear sight. It also has a narrow top rib and Goncalo Alves combat grips with S&W medallions. The revolver is equipped with a .312" smooth combat trigger and a .240" service hammer. The 631 LS LadySmith version features a 2" barrel with rosewood grips and laser-etched "Ladysmith" on the sideplate. It was also available in a rare black stainless variant, which was not cataloged by S&W. Production of the Smith & Wesson 631 was limited to approximately 5,474 units, and it continues to maintain a high resale value. Additionally, a special edition "Kit Gun" was produced in 1998, featuring a 4" barrel with a red ramp insert, adjustable rear sight, satin stainless finish, 3/47" serrated trigger, and Goncalo Alves wood grips. Only 40 of these were made, and they carried the product code 103682.
