The Browning A-Bolt II Hunter Bolt-Action Rifle comes with a sharp-checkered walnut stock that features a straight comb, a rubber recoil pad, and a durable high gloss finish. The receiver and barrel feature a low-luster blued finish. The Browning A-Bolt II Hunter model represents an excellent value for a high-quality big game hunting rifle. Common to all A-Bolt II centerfire rifles, The Hunter II comes with a highly refined, adjustable trigger system featuring a chrome-plated sear. The barrel is free-floated, hand-chambered, and target-crowned, together with a glass-bedded receiver and the precision trigger deliver the kind of exceptional accuracy needed for long-range shooting. The A-Bolt II bolt assembly utilizes a fluted, anti-bind bolt with a rotating head and 3-locking lugs (instead of 2 on Mauser-type actions). 3 locking lugs allow a short 60-degree bolt handle lift for fast cycling and increased scope clearance. The bolt knob's shape is slightly flattened and canted at an ergonomic 30-degree angle that fits the hand naturally. 

 
Your glove won't get caught between your scope and the bolt knob at the moment of truth with an A-Bolt II, and neither will the bolt bind up. A detachable, 4-round, steel magazine is held in place by a hinged floorplate and allows quick re-loading with extra magazines(not included).
