*SOLD* 2005 Smith Wesson 21-4 .44 Spl Blue 4" -THUNDER RANCH SPECIAL- Only 2,600

Bryant Ridge's Analysis:

The Smith & Wesson Model 21-4 is a standout firearm that combines classic design with a high degree of customization. Originally reissued as a modern take on Smith & Wesson’s iconic 1950 .44 Special revolvers, the Model 21-4 offers a unique blend of nostalgia and versatility. Designed in an era when functionality was paramount, this revolver gives owners ample opportunities to experiment with different components and ammunition, enhancing their shooting experience. Although its original production run ended in the mid-1960s, the gun made a comeback in 2004 thanks to a push from Thunder Ranch, a respected defensive training academy. This resurgence led to a new batch of Model 21 revolvers, some even proudly bearing the TR logo.

From the factory, the Model 21-4 comes with a six-shot cylinder, a round butt, a tapered barrel, and both a rear pinch sight and a half-moon front sight. Its construction is based on Smith & Wesson's legendary N-frame, known for its ruggedness and ability to handle the heavy recoil of more powerful rounds. The 4-inch barrel strikes a perfect balance, making the revolver an excellent choice for both carry and big-bore plinking.
