Bryant Ridge's Analysis

Nitro King was the trade name for shotguns sold through the Sharpleigh Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri around the turn of the last century, and were actually manufactured by companies such as Crescent and Davenport. (As a side note, the "Nitro" in the name refers to "nitrocellulose," a key ingredient in smokeless powder which was the successor to black powder.) Davenport made many variations of their single shot shotguns!
