*SOLD* Taurus PT 24/7 .40 S&W Stainless 4.25" *BRAZILIAN MADE SEMI-AUTOMATIC*
Bryant Ridge's Analysis
The Taurus PT 24/7 represents a versatile and robust semi-automatic pistol employing short recoil operation. Produced by Forjas Taurus S/A in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and distributed in the United States through Taurus USA, this firearm series offers several configurations, including double-action-only (DAO) and double-action/single-action triggers. Designed primarily for civilian concealed carry and as backup weapons for law enforcement, all 24/7 models feature a frame-mounted manual safety lever and the 'Taurus Security System' (TSS), ensuring secure handling and storage. Notable for its striker-fired, hammerless design, the PT 24/7 integrates a visible/tactile loaded chamber indicator and a Picatinny rail on the dust cover, facilitating attachment of accessories such as laser sights or tactical lights. Sights vary across models, from fixed open iron sights with a high contrast front dot on basic versions to options like three-dot sights, Heinie 'Straight Eight' combat sights, and Tritium night sights available on Pro and OSS models, enhancing accuracy and adaptability in various tactical and defensive scenarios.
