A total of 7,000 Grade I units were produced, comprising 4,000 carbines and 3,000 rifles. The more ornate High Grade models elevate the design with high-gloss, finely checkered walnut, grey scroll-engraved receivers with gold inlays, and gold triggers. These were even more limited, with just 3,000 carbines and 3,000 rifles made, for a total of 6,000 High Grade guns. All variants are chambered in the hard-hitting .348 Winchester, making them as capable in the field as they are admired in collections. With their limited production, exceptional craftsmanship, and deep historical roots, Browning Model 71 rifles and carbines are prized by collectors and hunters alike.
