The Browning 22 Semi-Automatic rifle, also known as the Semi-Automatic 22 or SA-22, is a classic and highly regarded firearm that has been in production for over a century. Initially designed and manufactured by Fabrique Nationale (FN) in Belgium, production of the rifle began in 1914 and continued until 1973. Afterward, production was transferred to Miroku, a Japanese manufacturer known for producing high-quality firearms, who continued to make the rifle starting in 1974. The SA-22 is a takedown rifle, meaning it can be easily disassembled into two main components for convenient storage and transport, making it a popular choice among hunters and enthusiasts alike. The rifle’s construction is a mix of blued steel and finely crafted walnut, giving it both durability and an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
