The Century JW-2000 Coach Gun, once offered by Century, remains a popular choice on the used market, following closely behind Century’s more famous Coach Gun, according to GunBroker.com data. Available in both 20 and 12 gauge, the JW-2000 was a break-action side-by-side shotgun that featured the classic two-shot capacity with external "rabbit ear" hammers. It had blued barrels and receiver, a tang-mounted manual safety, double triggers, fixed chokes, and a brass bead front sight. The stock and fore-end were crafted from hardwood with a walnut stain and oil-rubbed finish, and the modest checkering provided a solid grip, making it reliable in both wet conditions and during intense cowboy action shooting matches. A rubber recoil pad, sling swivels, and a 20-inch barrel length completed the design.
