These collectible commemorative firearms have the appearance of a Colt 1860 Percussion Revolver but are single-shot in their function. A 6" barrel is made from blued steel, as is the "cylinder." The Civil War Centennial's frame is highly polished brass, while the smooth wood grips finish of these beautiful handguns. The Colt Civil war centennial pistol set was produced for presentation but has the ability to be taken apart and a single 22 short shell can be used and shot. The cylinders on this set is only compatable for 1 round, all the other cylinder holes are not completely machined. The push rod does not function and is a part of the frame.
