The Colt Wiley Clapp CCO is a special combination of Officers size fame and Commander slide slide for easy concealed carry. The firearm features Carbon Blue Steel Commander-sized Series 70 fire controls, complemented by a Blue Aluminum Officer's Lightweight Frame. Rear slide serrations add to its aesthetic, while special metal work by Pete Single enhances its overall craftsmanship. The front strap is checkered at 25 lpi with a generous relief cut where it meets the trigger guard, providing a hi-cut for a lower grip position. This design ensures that users with average-sized hands can comfortably get a full grip without the pinky hanging off the bottom. The relief cut blends seamlessly from the checkering to the trigger guard. The frame’s heel and mainspring housing are rounded for enhanced comfort during concealed carry and shooting. The magazine well is fully beveled 360 degrees around, featuring a long, gentle taper for ease of magazine insertion.

For precision aiming, the pistol is equipped with a Novak extra-wide (.170) notch LoMount rear sight and a Novak brass bead front sight. The Altamont "finger print" Tactical Oval grips are round-butt and altered to fit the short butt design. The controls, including the mag catch, safety, and beavertail, are consistent with other Wiley Clapp 1911s. The original long trigger has no holes, preserving the pistol's clean lines. The right side of the slide is unmarked, while the left side mirrors the O4840 model. This special serial number run is designated as "0001WCC."
