The 1995 Colt Mustang .380 ACP is a tidy, classically styled pocket-1911 that condenses Colt’s familiar ergonomics into a purpose-built, single-action subcompact optimized for deep concealment and easy carry: built on a short-recoil, locked-breech design with a roughly 2.75-inch barrel, the Mustang retains a simple left-side thumb safety and compact commander-style controls while eliminating the full-size 1911’s grip safety to keep snag-free presentation a priority.
