The Colt Single Action Army (also known as the Model P, Peacemaker, M1873, Single Action Army, SAA, ) is a single action revolver with a revolving cylinder holding six metallic cartridges. It was designed for the U.S. government service revolver trials of 1873 by Colt's Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company, today Colt’s Manufacturing Company, and adopted as the standard military service revolver until 1892. It is perhaps the most copied, fraudulently modified to replicate an original Colt SAA, than any other revolver made.

One of 500 limited edition Single Action Army revolvers celebrating the work of Louis Daniel Nimschke, one of the most revered hand engravers of the 19th century. This nickel Colt wears the modern Nimschke presentation, paying homage to the Master Engraver. Matching the TALO Nimschke 1911 of the past, this high polished Colt wears symmetrical, delicate scrollwork with punch dot accents, infamous to Nimschke’s designs. The top of the barrel has a Nimschke pattern along with 24kt gold floral accents. Perfectly fitted hardwood grip panels that compliment with an engraved pattern and the iconic gold Colt pony. LDN serial number suffix to celebrate Louis Daniel Nimschke.
