Rifle vz. 24 is a Czechoslovak military rifle that was produced in Czechoslovakia from 1924 to 1942 . It was about MS. a version of the Mauser 98 system rifle that was used and produced in many countries around the world. Rifles vz. 24 were produced in several factories on the territory of Czechoslovakia, while codes were stamped on them, which also included the places of production. Rifles vz. 24 have been widely used throughout the world, e.g. in Japan, Romania, Iran, Guatemala, China, Lithuania, Yugoslavia, Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia, etc. In Iran, the rifle was known under the name "Berno" (after the city of Brno) and gained an excellent reputation there. It was chosen for the Iranian army and from 1940 it was also produced in Tehran . Since 1939, rifles vz. 24 produced for the Wehrmacht and the Slovak army.
