Engineered to meet the rigorous demands of duty use, it carries all the refinements officers wanted in the field, which also makes it an exceptional choice for personal defense at home. The Specialist is a full-size 1911 that was offered in .45 ACP, 10mm, or 9mm, and built on a forged stainless steel frame and slide for unmatched strength. The slide features an inverted top rib for glare reduction, paired with a high-visibility sight system: a rear sight with a single amber tritium dot and a front sight with a green tritium dot surrounded by a white target ring, providing rapid acquisition in any light. Every detail of the frame is designed for control and adaptability. It comes standard with 25 LPI front strap checkering, an undercut trigger guard, and a recessed slide stop to accommodate laser grips. An integral 1913 Picatinny rail provides room for weapon lights, while the ambidextrous thumb safety, extended magazine release, and detachable magwell make it truly operator-friendly.
