Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Fegyver- és Gépgyár FEG PJK-9HP is a Hungarian-made, full-size, steel-framed semi-automatic pistol best known as one of the closest licensed-style copies of the legendary FN Herstal Browning Hi-Power, both mechanically and cosmetically. Introduced around 1980 and produced primarily through the early 1990s, it was designed as a recoil-operated, single-action 9×19mm handgun intended for export, law-enforcement contracts, and civilian sales worldwide. The pistol typically features a blued steel frame and slide, a 4.6-inch barrel, fixed iron sights, and a frame-mounted thumb safety, along with a double-stack magazine holding roughly 13–14 rounds, giving it the same handling characteristics and ergonomics that made the Hi-Power famous. Because the PJK-9HP was engineered to closely mirror the original pattern, many internal and external components—such as magazines, grips, and certain small parts—are interchangeable, which has helped maintain its popularity among collectors and shooters who want Hi-Power performance at a more accessible price point. Historically, FEG produced numerous Hi-Power-style variants for military and police markets during the late Cold War era, and the PJK-9HP stands out as the most faithful clone in that lineup. Today, it is regarded as a solid, all-steel service pistol with classic European styling, a reputation for durability, and modest collector appeal, typically trading in the secondary market at relatively affordable values compared to original Belgian-made examples.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3-day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
