The Glock 21 is a full-size polymer-framed handgun produced by Glock Ges.m.b.H. and chambered in the powerful .45 ACP cartridge, combining the stopping power of a large-bore round with the high capacity and reliability associated with modern striker-fired pistols. Introduced in the early 1990s, the Glock 21 was designed to provide law-enforcement and civilian shooters with a high-capacity alternative to traditional .45 ACP service pistols such as the Colt M1911 while maintaining Glock’s signature simplicity and durability.
