The Glock 34 Gen 5 is Glock’s long-slide, competition-tuned take on the ubiquitous 9×19mm platform — a gun built specifically to give practical shooters a fast, inherently accurate pistol straight from the box while keeping the reliability and low-maintenance DNA Glock is known for. At heart it’s a Glock 17-sized action stretched into a longer slide and barrel to produce a markedly extended sight radius and extra barrel dwell, which together make follow-up shots quicker and precision strings easier; that long-slide geometry is why competitive shooters, action competitors and accuracy-minded range rats gravitate to the 34.
