Chambered in .32 S&W Long, the M732 offers a balance of manageable recoil and sufficient stopping power for its intended applications, including personal defense and law enforcement. The revolver features a 2-inch barrel, which contributes to its compact profile, making it suitable for concealed carry and ease of handling in various situations. The M732's construction includes a solid steel frame and a well-machined cylinder, ensuring durability and reliability. The revolver is designed with a traditional double-action mechanism, allowing for both double-action and single-action shooting. This versatility makes the M732 adaptable to different shooting preferences and scenarios. The .32 S&W Long caliber of the M732 provides moderate stopping power with relatively low recoil, making it accessible for shooters of various experience levels. The revolver's design emphasizes ease of use and reliability, key attributes for a defensive firearm. Its double-action trigger mechanism allows for a smooth and consistent pull, while the single-action option provides a lighter and more precise trigger pull for improved accuracy. The M732 typically includes fixed sights, which were standard for many revolvers of its era. While not adjustable, these sights are adequate for the intended defensive and self-defense purposes. The compact design of the M732 enhances its practicality for concealed carry, allowing users to comfortably carry the revolver in various holsters. The Harrington & Richardson M732 was produced during a period when revolvers were a common choice for personal defense and law enforcement. Its production also highlights the company's adaptation to market demands and technological advancements in firearm design. The M732 has gained recognition among collectors and firearm enthusiasts for its historical significance and practical design. While it may not have the same level of fame as some other firearms from the era, its reliability and compact size ensure its place in the history of revolvers. Collectors appreciate the M732 for its craftsmanship and as a representation of the evolution of defensive firearms. The Harrington & Richardson M732 stands out as a well-designed and functional revolver with a focus on practicality and reliability. Its compact size, manageable recoil, and solid construction make it a valuable option for personal defense and concealed carry.
