The Henry Big Boy Case Color Hardened H012 series represents a modern interpretation of the classic American lever-action rifle, blending traditional aesthetics with contemporary functionality. Chambered in popular handgun calibers, including .357 Magnum/.38 Special, .44 Magnum/.44 Special, and .45 Colt, these rifles and carbines are built on Henry’s steel-framed Big Boy platform and finished with an attractive case color–hardened treatment. By moving away from the heavier brass receiver of earlier Big Boy models, Henry achieved a lighter, better-balanced rifle while preserving the visual appeal of octagonal barrels and period-correct styling. The addition of a side-loading gate—combined with Henry’s removable tube magazine—offers shooters flexibility and convenience rarely found in classic lever-action designs.
