Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Stevens Arms was a firearms manufacturer based in Chicopee, Massachusetts, USA. It was founded by Joshua Stevens in 1864 and introduced the .22 Long Rifle round. The company designed and produced a variety of rifles, shotguns, and target pistols. By 1902, it had become "the largest producers of sporting arms in the world". The company was bought by New England Westinghouse on May 28, 1915, and then by Savage Arms on April 1, 1920. As a division of Savage, Stevens continued to manufacture firearms at their Chicopee Falls plant until 1960. The facility was demolished and Stevens production was moved to other Savage facilities. In 1991, Savage discontinued the Stevens name but revived it in 1999. Today, it is used for several of its low-cost rifles and shotguns. The Savage Arms Stevens Model 311 - Series H is a 20-gauge shotgun that features a break-action side-by-side design with 3-inch chambers. It comes with two 26-inch blued steel barrels that have bead front sights. The Stevens Model 311 - Series H has a classic design and features a case-hardened receiver, double triggers, and smooth hardwood furniture.
