The Kahr Arms PM45 was developed as part of the company’s long-standing mission to produce the ultimate off-duty, backup, and concealed carry pistol in a major caliber. Founded in 1993 by Justin Moon, Kahr built its reputation on slim, double-action-only pistols engineered to be thinner and more compact than competing designs, aided by patented features such as the offset barrel feed ramp and striker-fired DAO system. The PM45 (Polymer Micro .45) embodies that “big bore in a small package” philosophy, delivering .45 ACP performance in an ultra-compact polymer-framed platform weighing approximately 17.3 ounces unloaded. Featuring a 3.24-inch polygonally rifled barrel with a 1:16.38" right-hand twist and a 5+1 round capacity, the PM45 measures approximately 5.79 inches in overall length, 4.49 inches in height, and just over 1.0 inch in width. Its black polymer frame is paired with a stainless steel slide for durability and corrosion resistance.
